In his article before the start of the first test in SA, Sunil Gavaskar has suggested to include Irfan Pathan as an opener and play 2 spinners.
If Greg Chappell had even hinted at this, just imagine the furore that would have erupted in India?
I think Sunil Gavaskar can do much better job than try and hint insane stuff - surely. What positive contributions is he providing to the Indian cricket? He has just made money for himself through his stupid comments on his news article as well as commentary on espn-star. Sunny, its time for your retirement from this arena also.
Ravi Shastri and Harsha Bhogle are any day better than him.
