Colonel means business

It is such a heartening change to see the Chief Selector throwing his weight (for the right reason) on the Indian team. After the disastrous showing in SAF, the Indian team is back in India and what do you see just 2 days after they land? They are playing RANJI matches!!! This was never before heard-of, in the Indian setup.
  • Sehwag has scored a century - 106 against Haryana
  • Rahul Dravid and Jaffer had scored a fifty each
  • Dinesh Karthick is keeping wickets for TN
  • Laxman and Saurav are appearing for HYD and WB respectively
  • Sachin and Kumble are missing - as well as Zaheer
Good to see such a change. Hope the WI series would be played by better, fitter, in-form players from the Indian team.
