Rajasthan Royals defeated the Deccan Chargers comfortably. Their batting carried too many punches for the good bowling of Deccan. The Chargers have Dale Steyn, Ishant Sharma, Pragyan Ojha, Amit Mishra in their arsenal - handful for any team on any wicket. But, even such a unit needs runs on the board, that was not put up by their batsmen. Rajasthan was led well in the bowling department by Siddharth Trivedi (a bowler who seems to display his best under Shane Warne).
The chart to the right, shows the ups and downs in the chase till the 16th onwards when it became easy. Ross Taylor and Johan Botha give the top-order a solid look for Rajasthan. Interesting times ahead!
